UMCOR SUNDAY: We invite you to support UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) with a special offering on March 11, 2018. UMCOR directs ministry to persons in need through programs of relief, rehabilitation, and service, including issues of displaced person, hunger and poverty, and disaster response. Checks can be made out to our church with the notation of UMCOR and we will send it to UMCOR.
YOUTH GROUP REQUEST: The Youth Group is asking for donated items such as cases of water, soda, juice, store bought cookies and snacks for the meetings. If you are interested, please leave them at the Welcome Center. Any questions, contact Brenda Anderson or Lynn Peters.
LENTEN STUDY: Pastor John will be starting a Lenten Study on Feb. 21st. You can come either at 12:15 or 7:15 pm whatever works for you. You can purchase a study book for $10 through the Church Office.
HOLY GHOST SATURDAY: You still have another chance to hear Wayne Hendrickson on Feb. 24 and March 24 at 10:00 a.m. in the Choir Room. You will not want to miss this.
ABBBA'S DAUGHTERS: Abba's Daughters is a women's ministry that meets the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 - 12:00 in the Choir Room. For more information, you can contact Donna Johnson at 610-800-9896.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: We are looking for a team of volunteers to serve in the nursery and KIDMO on a monthly basis. Whatever time you can give would be appreciated. If you are interested, please contact Mary Ryan at 484-433-0720.
BALANCING LIFE AND SPIRIT: Join us for an hour of balance, flexibility, stretching and prayer Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. in the Welcome Center. Balance and flexibility is important in our everyday lives and our program is effective, and low impact for almost every fitness level. Bring socks and water, that is all you need. BUS MINISTRY: We are looking to start up a bus ministry to provide transportation to our members that are in need of transportation to worship service, Bible studies, and events. If you are interested, please see Pastor John.
EXERCISE & PRAYER ROOM: Atonement has an exercise room and prayer room available to all, open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 - 4:30.
CARDS FOR MILITARY: Anyone wish to send cards to Trevor Richards or any servicemen can do so by placing them in the manila envelope at the Welcome Center Desk and Mary Richards will make sure they gate mailed.
CLAYMONT COMMUNITY FOOD CLOSET: The center is in need of support! There's a round container located outside of the Welcome Center where you may drop off items. You may also write a check to the CC Food Center.
ATONEMENT'S FOOD CLOSET: Atonement's FoodCloset serves many people in our church and community. On average, we are handing out 20 bags/month. We want to continue serving the Claymont community and beyond but need your help. We are currently in need of peanut butter, jelly, cereal, rice, canned vegetables, crackers, applesauce, spaghetti sauce & noodles, and personal hygiene items such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant. Donated items can be placed in cart outside of the Nursery.
SAMARITAN'S PURSE WELL WATER: The Well Water ministry will now go towards Samaritan's Purse. We have raised $2,433.77 to date. To donate, please leave change in the water jug found in the Welcome Center.
